On October 31, 2013 at the conclusion of Prime Minister Maliki's remarks, "Iraq's Transition" at the United States Institute of Peace, H.E. sat down with thought leaders and foreign policy experts for a roundtable discussion.
Participants discussed and evaluated the current state of Iraq and the relationship between the United States and Iraq.
Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was in attendance; Other participants included US Ambassador to Iraq Robert Stephen Beecroft, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Brett McGurk, USIP President Jim Marshall and Steve Hadley and other thinktank members.
Foreign Minister Zebari, Ambassador Faily and Iraqi delegation also participated in the roundtable.
