Foreign Minister Accompanies President during Meeting with Austrian Chancellor

President Barham Saleh accompanied by Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim attended the meeting with Austrian Chancellor Mr. Sebastian Kurz in the presence of the Ministers of Trade and Culture on the sidelines of the LAS-European Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, economic cooperation and reconstruction especially in the field of infrastructure, and mutual support in international issues of common concern.

On his part, Mr. Kurz renewed his country's support for the stability of Iraq, stressing the importance of Austrian companies' contribution to the development of industrial and investment sectors.
