Foreign minister meets the ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic missions of the countries of Asia, Africa, America, Australia, Turkey and Iran.

Foreign minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari met the ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic missions of the countries of Asia, Africa, America, Australia, Turkey and Iran to Iraq at the ministry's headquarter in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they reviewed the political procedures, the security developments, the war efforts against Da'esh terroristic gangs, and the relations of Iraq with other countries.

The minister said that Iraqis continue their sacrifices to liberate the rest of Al-Mosul through the unity of the security forces, Peshmargha, Tribes and counterterrorism body, beside the support of the political power and the support of the friendly people, stressing on saving the civilians and liberating their areas from Da'esh terrorists especially that Da'esh use the innocent civilians as human shields.

His Excellency added that Iraq bears the direct confront against Da'esh terroristic gangs to defend itself and on behalf of the world, and all have to bear their responsibilities toward Iraq and support it and participate in rebuilding the infrastructure of the Iraqi cities, referring to the that Iraq is a rich country with Mineral wealth, but is experiences difficult situations represented by the security change and counter terrorism and the economy challenge and the low oil prices and the war expenses against Da'esh terrorists, and seeks for the support of the friendly countries.

Dr. Al-Jaafari explained that "Iraq continues its approach, and openness and strengthen its relations with the countries to activate the mutual interests, and facing the mutual dangers and increasing the cooperation volume, the security, intelligent, coordination, trade exchange and investment in different fields.

From their side, the ambassadors and the representatives of the diplomatic missions of the countries, Asia, Africa, America, Australia, Turkey and Iran to Iraq praised the great victories achieved by Iraqis in their war against Da'esh terroristic gangs, expressing the support of their countries to Iraq until defeating terrorism, and rebuilding the infrastructure of the Iraqi cities, and return the displaced people to their areas.
