His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received; this Sunday U.S. congressmen delegation headed by U.S. House Armed Services Committee Chairman the Representative of Democratic in Washington Adam Smith.
They discussed bilateral, strengthening Mutual collaboration, supporting reforms plans and measures taken by the Iraqi government.
His Excellency Prime Minister confirmed that Iraq is keen to establish the best bilateral with the United States of America, its surrounding Arabic countries and the regional.
The Iraqi government seriously implements the reforms process since the beginning of its formation and it's determined in implementing its plans and measures of reforms, presenting many drafting laws that meet the Iraqi people's demand in reforming the political and economic system and to fulfill his aspirations for a decent living.
In addition to the continuous quest to increase creating job opportunities and attract investments, provide a safe atmosphere, Stable help to speed up the reconstruction, construction, and employment of young people.
For their part, The Chairman and members of the American delegation underscoring the continuation of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, In particular, the counter-terrorism and coordination with the Iraqi government regarding military cooperation,

expressing their support for the Iraqi Government and its reform measures and the performance of its constitutional duties, and for its efforts to respond to the legitimate demands of the Iraqi people in the light of the right of peaceful demonstration.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defense and the National Security Advisor, Vice-Chairman of the Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee, and a number of officials and advisers.
