H.E. Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi calls for maintaining the victory and supporting stability

His Excellency Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider al-Abadi has called for maintaining the victory, supporting stability and to take advantage of the hard lesson of a Daesh's occupation of cities.
His Excellency has clarified that Iraqis, with their patience, loyalty, and unity, have won against terrorism.
This came during the celebration held in holy Najaf province on the occasion of the great victory against Daesh's terrorist gangs,
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has said that we celebrate with you the victory in the city of Amir Al-Mu'minin (Imam Ali ),(peace be upon him), the city of science and tenderness and the city of the Fatwa of the supreme religious authority. He has added that victory belongs to the heroic victorious fighters.
He has added: We must not forget the great tragedy when Daesh occupied our cities where we did lose cities, damaged totally as a result in large numbers of displaced, then we made sacrifices by the Iraqi's heroic forces who rushed to defend their country.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has confirmed that the period of conflict and stubbornness will not return and we will not be returned to the first box (starting point) through conflicts and corruption.
He said that the world is surprised by the victory achieved and considered it miraculous, and this is the first victory, but the second victory was our victory on the attempts to partition when we did prove that we are one country and we are proud of our diversity.
"There are those who tried to differentiate between our heroic forces, but they failed," he has said. "Weapons must remain under the state control."
His Excellency has added that the first steps to fight corruption is starting in the military and security establishment and we will not change the soldiers or the commanders, but the army turned into heroic army, victorious, and our nation is proud of it, and we will continue in building it on the right foundation, away from corruption.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has said: "We won in this confrontation and hit the head of the snake and the right sons of Iraq should be proud of their victory, there are those who wanted to sell that victory to this country or that, but we tell them that victory belongs to Iraq and achieved by the people of Iraq.
His Excellency has remembered the heroic's martyrs and wounded who liberate Iraq with their blood, extending the greeting to all Iraqis who supported their forces.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has said: "A great tribute to the supreme religious leader, led by Grand Ayatollah Sayyad Al-Sistani, who did announce the Jihad's fatwa.
