Iraq opens 600 new schools in September

The Iraqi Ministry of Education recently announced that six hundred new elementary and secondary schools were opened across Iraq in September.

The opening of the additional schools are part of a national plan to improve education in the country.

Officials are also working to prepare an additional 580 schools in the next three months due to increasing student numbers, especially in the elementary level.
