The Iraqi and Iranian delegations held in Tehran This day, Tuesday, an expanded meeting headed by His Excellency Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and the first vice-president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri.
The expanded meeting discussed the files included on the agenda, which dealt with developing the strengthening collaboration in various sectors between the two countries, ways of overcoming obstacles and solving problems that might hinder the progress of joint cooperation.

French president congratulates Dr.Haider Al-Abadi for triumphs achieved against Daesh and liberating , Stressing France's continued commitment to support Iraq in the fight against terrorism , supporting the Iraqi government efforts to restore stability , building its institution, developing the relations level between the two countries.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received this day in his office, the Chairman of the Iraqi-British Business Council Baroness Emma Nicholson, they discussed joint cooperation between Iraqi and British businessmen, companies and the proposed investment projects in Iraq.

His Excellency confirmed that the stability of Iraq provides an opportunity to increase the efforts of construction and reconstruction, welcoming cooperation between Iraqi and British companies within the framework of the Business Council.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has met a Saudi ministerial delegation, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The delegation consists of Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Minister of Trade and Investment and Minister of State.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi has received EU Counter-terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove and his accompanying delegation.
His Excellency has confirmed his keenness to strengthen the security and stability throughout Iraq and particularly in liberated territories, assuring that the security forces did their national and humanitarian duty professionally until security file to be handed over the to the local police forces, Pointing out to continuing the training and the rehabilitation in order to increase the efficiency of security forces.
