His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi has received a cable of congratulations from German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of the formation of the government, wishing him success in his mission, stressing Germany's support for the new government in various fields.

This came in a cable of congratulations from Chancellor Angela Merkel to His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi, during which she confirmed Germany's support for Iraq in overcoming the challenges ahead.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has received, Today on Monday, a telephone call from Vice President of the United States Mike Pence.
During the call, they have discussed strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and the situation in the region as well as the political and security situation.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received this day in his office, the Chairman of the Iraqi-British Business Council Baroness Emma Nicholson, they discussed joint cooperation between Iraqi and British businessmen, companies and the proposed investment projects in Iraq.

His Excellency confirmed that the stability of Iraq provides an opportunity to increase the efforts of construction and reconstruction, welcoming cooperation between Iraqi and British companies within the framework of the Business Council.

September - 15 – 2019

His Excellency Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has inaugurated Iraq's International Security, Defense and Military industrial Exhibition, in Iraq under the slogan (we won by our unity.. for Reconstruction we move).
His Excellency has made a tour in the exhibition, which was attended by a large number of countries and international companies, in addition to national companies.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received a phone call from U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo,
During the call, it's confirmed the following, the legal framework for the international coalition forces work, including the US forces operating in Iraq, whose task is to combat Daesh, training of Iraqi forces and the non-establishment of foreign bases, in according with Iraqi approvals.

Based on the brotherly and historical relations established between the Republic of Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation between the two fraternal countries, a meeting held in Baghdad on Saturday chaired by His Excellency Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Adil Abd Al-Mahdi, Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Omar Razzaz and his accompanying large ministerial delegation in the presence of ambassadors of the two countries.

Meeting today at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, President Salih stressed that Iraq looks forward to work jointly with the fraternal and friendly States to advance regional security and stability, mitigate the tensions as well as avoiding further escalation which would undermine the chance of peace regionally and internationally.
