Foreign Minister Dr.Ibrahim Al-Jaafari met with Foreign Minister of the republic of Syria Mr. Walid Al-Muallem on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In recognition of the changes that have taken place in the region, and in line with the great role that Iraq could play in the midst of these changes, it becomes imperative upon us to create internal political cohesion that results in important outputs. The first is to create an integrative approach to be played by the Government and the political parties in line with what is happening at the internal and external levels.
