His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi received, in his office, The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq Mr. Ján Kubiš.

During the meeting, they discussed the governmental measures to extend the federal authority in the disputed areas, airports, border crossings and the federal government priorities in that field which is for the benefit of our Kurdish citizens.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Al-Abadi sent a condolences message to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani condemning the terrorist attacks that struck the capital Tehran recently.

In a joint press conference with his Czech counterpart Bohuslav Sobotka, his Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi welcomed the guest delegation, praising the Czech support to Iraq in the war against terror , providing humanitarian, medical and navigation training.clarifying that there are agreements in the military equipment supply and other fields.

His Excellency Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed, in Statement at the Popular Mobilization Units, we moving ahead to for the final battle to root out Daesh, which is trying to reorganize its remnants, the Popular Mobilization fighters are at the forefront who implement this charge alongside their brothers in the army and the rest of the armed forces.

President Barham Salih on Friday, March 8, 2019, congratulated Iraqi Women and women of the world on the occasion of their International Day.
In a message on the occasion, His Excellency asserted that the Women's Day comes this year as we remember the pioneering role of Iraqi women in the journey of life and their serious efforts to gain their legitimate rights to contribute to the building of the Iraqi society.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi has received a cable of congratulations from the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

Medvedev has congratulated His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi on the occasion of the formation of the government, expressing the continuing support of Russia to Iraq.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has assured on The impartiality and professionalism of the armed forces must be maintained and the influence of the parties should be kept away from them, Stressing that citizen currently has great confidence and respect for the security forces, which came as a result of huge sacrifices and professional dealings.

Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi visits the "Christians of the East" exhibition at the Arab World Institute. He toured the exhibition, which included many precious pieces of archaeological and historical documents and was greeted by Jack Lang, head of the Institute and former Minister of Culture.
