Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Austrian Foreign Minister Mr. Alexander Schallenberg. The meeting discussed the resumption of the joint Iraqi-Austrian committee meetings as a framework to activate bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Vienna.
Minister Alhakim expressed appreciation for Austria’s stances in supporting Iraq in various fields, including: military and humanitarian support, and their contribution to the reconstruction of liberated cities, calling for the reopening of the Austrian embassy in Baghdad.
