On Wednesday, October 29, 2013, Vice President Joseph Biden welcomed H.E. Prime Minister Noori al-Maliki to the Naval Observatory to discuss bilateral relations between the United States and Iraq.
The joint meeting was the first of many for the Prime Minister while he is in Washington, DC this week for discussions with officials on the importance of the U.S.-Iraq relationship.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Foreign Minister Zebari, Acting Minister of Defense Saadon Al-Dlimi, National Security Adviser Mr. Falih Al-Fayyadh and Ambassador Faily.
