“A Cultural Gathering Showcasing Iraq’s Heritage and Diversity in Washington”

On January 29, 2025, a cultural event was held in Washington for the members of the Muslim Women’s Association, attended by the Tunisian Ambassador, the wives of several ambassadors, and a number of American and foreign dignitaries.

The program featured a presentation on Iraqi society, highlighting its diversity, components, customs, and traditions, followed by another presentation showcasing the most distinguished Iraqi women in various fields. Additionally, a group of female students from the Arabic Language Department at Baltimore International Primary School delivered an impressive presentation that captivated the attendees.

The event concluded with an authentic Iraqi lunch, accompanied by an exhibition of paintings and handicrafts that reflect Iraq’s rich heritage and folklore, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the gathering.
