Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim met with the United States Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Douglas Silliman on the occasion of ending his tenure in Baghdad.
The Minister thanked Ambassador Silliman for his efforts during his stay in Baghdad and his continuous efforts to enhance strategic relations between the two countries wishing him success in his new assignment.
On his part, Ambassador Silliman praised the fruitful cooperation and facilities provided by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to him and the Embassy staff and wished prosperity for Iraq and its people.
