Foreign Minister Meets with his Saudi Counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and discussed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Riyadh.
The two sides praised the growing development that was witnessed in the last period, and the ways to strengthen it further in light of the strong and serious will of both countries to strengthen the frameworks for cooperation.
The two sides discussed prospects for enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries in a way that contributes to achieving the interests of the two brotherly countries.

They also discussed the meetings of the Joint High Coordinating Committee, and the repercussions on the economic and investment conditions.
This meeting came on the sidelines of the official visit of Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2020 / Regional Security Summit (16) titled (Conflict Resolution in the Middle East).
The Minister expressed his satisfaction with Kuwaiti efforts in the rapprochement of the views between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, expressing his hope for a solution to end the dispute and restore relations to their previous state.

At the end of the meeting, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, extended an invitation to Minister Fuad Hussein to visit Riyadh in the context of consolidating bilateral relations with the Kingdom and discussing ways to create areas for cooperation and participation in various fields.
