Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Swedish Foreign Minister Ms. Margot Wallström on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat Da'esh held in Washington.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing them in all fields and the developments in the regional arena.
Minister Alhakim stressed Iraq's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations at all levels, exchange visits and meetings in the framework of promoting bilateral relations to a broader perspective and reviewed the efforts of the Iraqi government in combating terrorism, corruption and reconstruction of cities liberated from the grip of terrorism.
