H.E. Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi receives Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi, during the meeting they discussed strengthening the relations between the two countries and the opening of airlines transportations, facilitating entering visas, As well as joint Iraq and Oman's role in maintaining security and stability in the region.

His Excellency welcomed the Omani Foreign minister, the strengthening of bilateral relations and the opening of the Omani embassy in Baghdad, which will contribute to increasing cooperation between the two countries and the two fraternal peoples.
His Excellency Prime Minister commended the Oman's role in the region, which is complementary to Iraq's role and expanding its relations with the Arab and regional environment, supporting the efforts of security and stability, defusing the current crisis between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran and evading the region and its people the risks of escalation and wars

Pointing out that the Iraqi government has sent messages and delegations to various friendly countries and continuing its efforts in this direction.
For his part, the Omani foreign minister said that Iraq has a special place with the government and people of Oman; we look at the positions of Iraq and the positive balanced role of the Iraqi government with respect and appreciation, expressing his satisfaction in the Iraq's visit, the common aspiration of the two countries to develop relations and expand cooperation, the achievement of cooperation and understanding between Iraq and Oman in the removal of tension from the region for creating climates for calm and stability in the region.
