H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi receives a phone call from Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received a phone call, on Sunday evening, from Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson.
During the call, they discussed the victories over terrorism, the deployment of the federal forces in Kirkuk and the rest of the regions in addition to political and security conditions.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi referred to that he doesn't want to leave things open as in previous years, but that the federal authority should impose over the country and its frontier, but the Kurdish side is slow in responding to that order.
He added that the Iraqi government should impose its control over the crossings which the oil exported throughout to Turkey and if not, this will cause the aggravation of the crisis, indicating that the central government does not want bloodshed or deterioration of the situation there, the regional government and party's media in Erbil incites on the killing of Iraqi forces.
He confirmed the keenness of the federal government to find peaceful solutions for Iraqis to live together in one country that would not be achieved without the presence of Iraqi force prevents the situation from deteriorating.
For his part, the British foreign secretary commended Dr. Haider Al-Abadi wisdom and leadership for this crisis and his desire to implement the constitution, noting that Nechirvan Barzani expressed his desire for dialogue in this regard.
