Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi visits the "Christians of the East" exhibition at the Arab World Institute. He toured the exhibition, which included many precious pieces of archaeological and historical documents and was greeted by Jack Lang, head of the Institute and former Minister of Culture.

PM Al-Abadi said: “this is an opportunity to deepen bilateral cultural relations due to importance and of depth of Iraqi civilization, which is the home of the Prophet Ibrahim, and this requires more cooperation between our two countries to preserve this heritage that is important to all humanity. This knowledge of humanity belongs to everyone, but there are a few groups working to sow differences, rather than making use of human diversity and the rapprochement between peoples.
We are proud of the Iraqi Christian heritage which is an important part of the Iraqi people and we are keen on this cultural and social presence.

The head of the Institute praised the civilization of Mesopotamia and the diversity of civilization in Iraq and expressed the keen interest of the Institute in the civilization of Mesopotamia, and pointed out that it is commissioned by the French President to form a fund to repair and save the archaeological sites and look forward to the first project in Iraq at a location to be decided by the Iraqi government.
