Iraq launches three housing projects

The Iraqi Ministry of Construction and Housing announced on December 3, 2013 the launch of three housing projects across the country.

According to the Ministry, the projects are expected to cost a total of 125 billion Iraqi dinars ($107 million), and are intended to alleviate the country's housing crisis.

Government contracting companies have started work on complexes in al-Diwaniyah, Maysan and Anbar provinces that comprise 900 housing units, schools, markets and health centres.
