Iraq participated in the Roundtable convened by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on investment in education and support for women on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari stressed that: "The real indicator of the democracy of each country is the amount of women that enter the parliament and reach the government, questioning : Why women are half the society, and not half the institution?!, Explaining: This is the truth and pointing out that this human civilization concept makes women in front of a new world a world that makes what you think regardless of age, and all considerations.

I salute you, and I would like to congratulate you on this extraordinary meeting; the importance of addressing the issue of women.
"The society is based on three basic elements: the youth component - the makers of the present, perhaps the most prominent of which is the Canadian Prime Minister who now leads a country the size of Canada with a distinct democracy - and the children - the makers of the future - The woman is the maker of all , the one who makes the young man, and that makes the child.
This is the fact that all the nations of the world have ignored. What the nations of the world have agreed to fight against, is they have agreed to fight against women. All the societies of the world without exception, their customs, traditions and culture fought women. Read about the Romans before and how they tied the young woman’s hair to a speeding horseman running until she died and the rest of the world burying the woman alive with her husband when he dies.
We should not disagree that there is a culture inherited from the depth of history that has agreed to oppress and abuse women.
How do we get rid of this ?
The real indicator of each country's democracy is how much women acheive when they enter Parliament and reach the government.
Why is a woman half of society, and not half of the institution ?!
Why when her husband dies turns into a widow, does not take her size in institutions, ministries ?!
How many women ministers in the world?
In the second government which was formed in Iraq in 2005, I appointed (6) women ministers, and I state that they worked efficiently and honestly.
You know very well that this may be natural in your countries, but in some of our societies in the Middle East, especially Arab countries, they rarely come with such a number of women ministers.
Good title (round table ) as the childhood with women .. The child is oppressed in our countries .. I can not believe that the child when smiling smiles out of politeness, and if crying means that there is something sincerely making them weep.
We live in a world where many smiles, which is - in fact - does not smile, but the move the muscles of laughter, and if you want to draw your affection you move the muscles of grief.
There is nothing more true than the child when he cries, when he rejoices, when he laughs.
The beauty that was persecuted from women is separated in a way that surrounds the woman, and the collar of her life ..
Why does a man's beauty last until he reaches 60, 70, 80, and 90 years, and he is blind, yet described as beautiful. The beauty is beautiful in its logic, beautiful in its thought, beautiful in its effectiveness.
All people yearn for Nelson Mandela, and pleads for him, and he has moral beauty, but why does the woman if she crossed the 30, and 40 years lost her beauty ?!
Because they reduced the concept of beauty ....beauty only of the body .. This culture of the new world.
Why women do not enjoy multiple beauty ....the beauty of the mind, the beauty of will, the beauty of the act, and the beauty of production ?!
Helene Keller is one of the women who was infected with blindness since she was four years old was in her time giving speech from 1880 to 1966.
A woman can not begin the journey of moral beauty unless she is liberated from within her from the knots of surrender.
This is the truth. Our prophet Mohammed - he married a woman 14 years older than him - was his wife, and she was married before him.
This human civilization concept makes women in front of a new world a world that makes what you think regardless of age, and all considerations.
I say to you: Childhood and women are threatened in our present societies.
On the occasion of Nelson Mandela's passing, I read his first book, "My Long Journey to Freedom," talking about his early days when he was beside his father when he saw how his father died. He had to sail by boat without a sail. What had Nelson Mandela become? !
When the society is progressive it will make up for the orphan, it will compensatefor her weakness more carefully.
