The Ministry of Higher Education is reporting that 118,000 Iraqi students have been admitted to Iraqi universities and institutes for the new academic year.
The number of those admitted is the highest it has been in a decade, according to the assistant deputy minister of higher education. The students were admitted at scientific and humanities faculties and technical institutes across the country.
