The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq participated in the Around the World Embassy Tour that was organized in Washington DC on May 6, 2023, with 63 participating embassies. During the event, the Iraqi heritage was presented through folklore costumes, paintings, calligraphy, and books by the embassy and a group of participants and artists from the community residing in the Mission's workspace, in addition to hosting traditional Iraqi food, drinks, and sweets. ...

H.E. Nazar Al Khirullah, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United States of America presented his credentials to the chief of protocol of the United States this morning June 6 at the headquarters of the Department of State in Washington DC.

H.E. Al Khairallah conveyed, through this ceremony, the greetings of H.E. the President of the Republic, H.E. PM, H.E. Deputy PM Minister of Foreign Affairs and the people of Iraq expressing his hope that this era would be a beginning for the expansion of political and economic partnership between the two friendly countries ...

PM Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani is intended to make Iraq an attractive investment hub among the developing countries in the region. The government is actively heading towards activating investment as it has other complementary ideas to the Development Road Project by creating new cities & facilities.
