His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi said in a statement at the end of his visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

US air strikes killed a leader of the Islamic State in the Iraqi city of Fallujah as US and Iraqi government forces continue a sustained attack to defeat terrorist networks.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said that Iraq achieved victories by Iraqis remarkable efforts and unity, which is the main secret of our strength, Indicating that we surrounded Daesh in the western Mosul , we will win over them.
This came during his Excellency speech at the memorial ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of Martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, where his Excellency pointed out that Iraq lost a prominent figure and a brilliant name continued to work day and night to fight injustice and raise the banner of truth.

Under patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi with presences of the Japan Prime Minister especial Adviser the State minister for foreign affairs Kentaro SONOURA inaugurated , today Saturday, the signing of Iraqi-Japan mutual agreement For the rehabilitation of the Al-Haritha thermal station (phase II) in the province of Basra at a cost of $ 195 million.

The agreement signed by the Iraqi side, Dr. Maher Hammad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and the Japanese side, Japanese Ambassador to Iraq Fumio Iwai.
