Ambassador Nazar Al Khirullah met with a group of members of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom at the Embassy’s building. The Ambassador reviewed the course of political action in Iraq and affirmed the Iraq government’s commitment to achieving the interests of its people of all sects and respecting their human rights, in accordance with what is stipulated in the Iraqi Constitution, which guarantees peaceful coexistence.
During the meeting, issues related to religious minorities in Iraq and the world as well as opportunities for joint cooperation were discussed.
