Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim met with his Dutch counterpart Mr. Stef
Block. The meeting discussed the most important issues of common concern and prospects for joint cooperation in various economic, humanitarian and development fields.
The Minister stressed that Iraq is keen to build relations with the Netherlands, and is a priority in the region, and expressed his desire to increase the volume of cooperation and coordination on trade and investment. Minister Alhakim stated that Iraq looks f orward to benefit from Dutch experiences; to upgrade Iraqi capabilities in building state institutions, and comprehensive development at various levels.
