Hill International Urges Contractors to Come to Iraq

Hill International, a US-headquartered construction consulting firm, said it expects to see big growth in the demand for construction work in Iraq and wants to encourage more large international contractors to work in the country.

The company’s senior vice-president and managing director of Middle East operations said that most contractors are medium-sized firms from the region that are working in partnership with local Iraqi contractors. Hill International already has several contracts in Iraq and is working with its clients to standardize design-and-build contracts.
