President Salih arrived in Erbil this afternoon.
His Excellency was received by Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraqi Kurdistan Region, and Mr. Firsat Sofi, the Governor of Erbil, at the Erbil International Airport, along with various senior staff.
President Salih plans on holding meetings with a number of senior officials in the Kurdistan Region to discuss lingering issues between the Federal Iraqi Government and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government.

President Barham Salih received the Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu, in Erbil, Monday, June 10, 2019, and discussed with him the latest political developments in the region.
During the meeting, they emphasized the need for cooperation and coordination as well as the adoption of keen dialogue among all parties in order to unify efforts to address the current crises and to steer clear of the language of threat so that the peoples of the region enjoy stability, security and economic prosperity.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani remarked that the current government represents all of Iraq`s components, supported by a significant political coalition. The public`s optimism and satisfaction, he mentioned, are evident from the security and political stability that has been encouraging good governance and service delivery.
