His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi has received a cable of congratulations from German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of the formation of the government, wishing him success in his mission, stressing Germany's support for the new government in various fields.

His Excellency Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed, in Statement at the Popular Mobilization Units, we moving ahead to for the final battle to root out Daesh, which is trying to reorganize its remnants, the Popular Mobilization fighters are at the forefront who implement this charge alongside their brothers in the army and the rest of the armed forces.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received this day in his office, the Chairman of the Iraqi-British Business Council Baroness Emma Nicholson, they discussed joint cooperation between Iraqi and British businessmen, companies and the proposed investment projects in Iraq.

His Excellency confirmed that the stability of Iraq provides an opportunity to increase the efforts of construction and reconstruction, welcoming cooperation between Iraqi and British companies within the framework of the Business Council.

We are closely following the developments in the Kurdistan region and the attacks on the headquarters of the parties as well as the media and attempts to cause chaos and disturbances in Erbil and Dohuk, which is detrimental to our citizens in the region and the general situation there, and call for adherence to the system and law and calm, and to not let political differences affect Kurdish citizens who are victims of these practices.

In accordance with the requirements of UN Security Council Resolution 2107 (2013) and under the direction of Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamed A. Alhakim, the Foreign Ministry and the Iraqi Embassy in Kuwait handed a shipment of Kuwaiti property to the Kuwaiti side on Tuesday, 13/11/2018.

The Foreign Ministry expresses its intention to move forward to strengthen bilateral relations and show the best of good-neighborly relations, and emphasized Iraq's commitment to resolve all remaining outstanding issues with Kuwait.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has met in Brussels with French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the meeting, they have discussed strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, the political situation, the importance of continuing efforts to fight terrorism, its ideas and support Iraq in the field of stability.
