During his official visit to the United States, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met with U.S. Secretary of State Mr. Antony Blinken on Monday evening, Baghdad time. The Foreign Ministry appreciates the positions of friendly and brotherly countries, international organisations, as well as the calls and messages that Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received from his counterparts around the world of condolences to the government and people of Iraq following the terrorist attack that targeted the capital, Baghdad, on 21/1/2021, which left tens of martyrs and wounded.
