His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi received, on Monday ,a phone call from the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Saudi monarch expressed the Kingdom's support for Iraq's unity and its rejection of the results of the referendum in the Kurdistan region, adding that Saudi Arabia is closely following the developments in Kirkuk, especially that Iraq has achieved remarkable victories against terrorism.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi has received EU Counter-terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove and his accompanying delegation.
His Excellency has confirmed his keenness to strengthen the security and stability throughout Iraq and particularly in liberated territories, assuring that the security forces did their national and humanitarian duty professionally until security file to be handed over the to the local police forces, Pointing out to continuing the training and the rehabilitation in order to increase the efficiency of security forces.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has received, in his office today on Monday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and his accompanying delegation.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has welcomed the guest delegation, confirming the importance of cooperation with NATO to fight terrorism.
His Excellency has added that what we achieved it is a triumph victory against Daesh's terrorist's gangs, we must maintain it, eliminating terrorism's ideological and continue to pursue it, indicating that cooperation between Iraq and NATO is important in this field.

US air strikes killed a leader of the Islamic State in the Iraqi city of Fallujah as US and Iraqi government forces continue a sustained attack to defeat terrorist networks.

Maher al-Bilawi, the commander of Daesh forces in Falluajh, was killed on May 25, according to the spokesperson of the US military campaign leading the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Operation Inherent Resolve army colonel Steve Warren confirmed the death of Mr al-Bilawi and more than 70 terrorists in recent air strikes.
