WASHINGTON, DC – The Atlantic Council’s Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security welcomed the Ambassador of Iraq, His Excellency Lukman Faily, at a roundtable discussion with fellow ambassadors from Chile, Czech Republic, Morocco and Singapore to discuss diplomacy beyond the nation-state with regards to the 2015 QDDR (Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review). Joining them in the discussion chaired by Atlantic Council President & CEO, Frederick Kempe was Hon. Paula Dobriansky and the Special Representative for the QDDR, Hon. Thomas Perriello.

Ambassador Nazar Al Khirullah received representatives of the Iraqi Assyrian community in US on behalf of active Assyrian Organizations at the Embassy’s headquarters on June 9. They discussed common issues, enhancing communication with the community and referring their demands to the competent Iraqi authorities. ...

President Salih congratulated today Iraqi police forces and all its formations, commanders, officers and soldiers, on the occasion of the anniversary of founding.

President Barham Salih met with Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, at Buckingham Palace in London, Thursday, June 27, 2019.
First Lady Dr. Sarbag Salih attended the meeting too.

"Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns and denounces the terrorist act that tried to target the Holy Shrine in Mecca. The ministry asserts Iraq's solidarity with fraternal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the terrorist gangs that targets its security and stability.

Such attacks reveal the deviation of the ideology of these gangs, which adopt radical terrorist approach, driving them to attack the most Holiest Shrines in Ramadan. A thing that requires exerting further efforts so as to uproot terrorism's sources of support and finance, and its ideological hotbeds."

The conference, hosted by the U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce, took place August 20-22, 2013 at the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and included leaders from the corporate community and others interested in promoting economic relationships between Arab countries and the United States.
