Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Ibrahim al-Jaafari received the American Ambassador to Iraq Mr Douglas A. Silliman, at his office, Baghdad.
The bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington and means to promote them to benefit the two friendly peoples were reviewed, during the meeting, as well as the most prominent regional and international issues. They also discussed the great efforts exerted in the war against terrorism, and emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination, and urging the friendly states to participates in rebuilding the infrastructures of the Iraqi damaged cities.
