The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a patrol of the Tunisian National Guard in Ain Sultan area in Jendouba province in northwestern Tunisia, which resulted in the injury and death of a number of patrol members.
As the Ministry extends its sincere condolences to the brothers in Tunisia, it affirms its stand with the leadership and people of Tunisia in confronting terrorist groups and calls upon the international community to support all countries and governments that stand in their war against these misguided groups and unite efforts to eradicate terrorism and its roots and to dry up its sources of funding and extremist ideology. Just like Iraq in this field after achieving a great victory against Da'esh terrorist gangs and liberating its territories.
