Ambassador Nazar Al Khirullah met on August 31 with Mrs. Elizabeth Rosenberg, the Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes at the US Department of the Treasury.
The Ambassador touched upon the seriousness of the governmental measures in banking and economic reforms; government's policy in energy independence and the importance of cooperation and support for these measures.
Mrs. Elizabeth confirmed the continuation of cooperation in banking reforms and support of the Iraqi government as a partner and talked about her visit to Baghdad during the coming weeks.
