Ambassador Nazar Al Khirullah welcomed the Emir of Yazidis at the Embassy during his visit to Washington DC; they explored opportunities to enhance cooperation with the Embassy and expand support opportunities to the Yazidi community residing in USA. The Ambassador expressed his great interest in providing facilities and support for the Yazidi community members.
The Ambassador touched upon the Iraqi government's efforts to heal the rift left by terrorist "Da’esh", and the commitment of the Iraqi government to support voluntary, dignified and safe return of the honorable Iraqi Yazidi component, and guarantee their rights under the principle of full citizenship, justice and equality.
