The Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Mohammed Husham met with the Deputy Director of the Office of International Religious Freedom at US State Department Ms. Mariah Mercer, on August 2, and discussed bilateral cooperation in promoting freedom of belief and multireligionism in Iraq and the region.
He emphasized the Iraqi government’s efforts to enhance religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
