Foreign Minister Alhakim Presents Iraq Speech in Ministerial Meeting of Arab Economic and Social Development Summit

Foreign Minister Mohamed Alhakim stressed the need for Arab countries to fulfill their commitments in accordance with the decisions of the Iraq Reconstruction Conference held in Kuwait last year, and called on the Arab countries and the international community to provide the necessary funding for the implementation of projects related to the development of East Quds in Palestine and to protect it from Israel's attempts to change the demographics of the Holy City

Minister Alhakim expressed Iraq's strong support for the rights of the Palestinian brothers and the establishment of an independent state and the the need for assistance to resolve the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories.

This came during a speech by His Excellency at the Ministerial Meeting of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Beirut.

In the context of joint Arab action, Minister Alhakim stressed the importance of achieving Arab integration in the field of foreign trade and financing sustainable development projects in countries suffering from wars and crises.
