His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi said in a statement at the end of his visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We came to the Kingdom to commend for the Saudi National Day, we met the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to follow up the relations between the two countries which is developing, to discuss the regional situation and seek to calm the situation, to prevent the dangers of any conflict or war and avoid the ramifications, The meetings were intense, deep, frank and straightforward, we put some perceptions on how to find solutions to help the two countries to advance their relations, especially in the areas of oil and commerce, As well as to calm the situation in the region and prevent the evils of war in it.
His Excellency added: We received a very good response in our intensive meetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince, We are more optimistic about moving forward to resolve situations, and prevent any clash or the possibility of fighting or war in the region, everyone does not want war they want calm, but the situation is difficult and complicated, We must be patient, We seek to find keys and doors, and solutions acceptable to all parties.
