His Excellency Prime Minister, on Saturday, has inaugurated Cancer's National Center.
His Excellency has laid the foundation stone for Blood Center for Adult and kids in Medicine City, and Spinal Cord Injuries rehabilitation Center in Ibn Al-Kuff Hospital.
His Excellency has toured in the Cancer's National Center to check the departments and halls of it.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said that the opening of the center with a capacity of 400 beds, which represents three times the current number in Baghdad, that following a decision made by the cabinet, the ministry, and its employees' great efforts.to transfer that abandon's center into disease treatment center.
His Excellency added that we are working for rebirth the State Institutions as all, and next phase which is post-Daesh would be for rebuilding and provide services to the citizens.
His Excellency has laid the foundation for the spinal cord which is considered the first of its kind in Iraq, which that would treat thousands of wounded in Iraq instead of sending them abroad and holding their expenses.
His Excellency has laid the foundation for the rehabilitation of Iraqi security forces and popular mobilization Units and others wounded individuals, which that center would undertake the rehabilitation and care for the heroics injured who have given great sacrifices.
Dr.Haider Al-Abadi has visited the security forces and PMU's injuries in the Ibn Al-Kuff Hospital, while His Excellency has listened to their heroic stories in the battles, His Excellency has directed to provide the maximum care to them and to all others.
