In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors,,,, And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared
In these immortal days of history, Imam Hussein Ibn Ali stood his remarkable stand in the face of injustice and tyranny. He said the word of truth, insisted over, scarifying till he reached martyrdom with a constellation of his family and companions, may Allah be pleased with them.
In this great anniversary, I salute the millions of our people who are performing their rituals in various provinces, safe by the protection of our heroic security forces who protect citizens and fight terrorism at once.
The commemoration of Ashura took place this year while our people reaping the fruits of their patience, precious sacrifices and legendary defense of the homeland, land and sanctities and adherence to the lofty principles that they Lord of Martyrs defended those and reached martyrdom for those nobles.
It also comes in coincidence with our great victories in the outstanding liberation we have undergone during the last three years, which we go with resilience and determination to complete with the help of Almighty Allah, and the courage of our armed forces of different types and formations, And with the sacrifices of martyrs and courageous wounded
Our Iraqi people have been inspired by the revolution of Imam Hussein and Al-Taf's immortal incident of courage, sacrifice, redemption and altruism in defending his land and sanctities.
Our people won by their unified and united of all of its sons, the heroic fighters achieved their great victories under the banner of one Iraq, Arabs, Kurds and all other components of our people, we won by this unity, which is a source of strength for all Iraqis, religious diversity, national and sectarian.
We reaffirm our determination for preserving Iraqi unity and our people by Muslims, Christians, Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, Yazidi and all of its dear components. We reject all calls for division, separation and tearing apart the unity of Iraq and its people, we affirm our pride in our Kurdish brothers our keenness on their interests, security and stability. We will seek to preserve unity and brotherhood so that we can pass together the stage of victory over terrorism. To the stage of building our great country and preserving its security and sovereignty
We ask Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs of Iraq His mercy and the wounded for speedy recovery and to grant our people security and safety
Peace be upon Hussein, Hussein's family and Hussein's friends
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
Peace be upon you and Allah mercy and blessings be upon you.
