Launching the “Study in Iraq” program

To strengthen friendly and peaceful relations between Iraq and the people of other countries through cultural exchange, the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Washington is pleased to announce the launch of the “Study in Iraq” Program by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, starting March 15, 2023 for Arab and foreign students and researchers to obtain study grants to complete
their first and higher studies (Bachelor's, Diploma, Master's and PhD) in various discreet Iraqi universities and for all specializations in 48 Iraqi universities (public and private) with 5784 scholarships. The program also funds Arab and foreign researchers who aim to conduct scientific or field research in Iraq or in Iraqi educational institutions. These scholarships are fully funded by the Iraqi
government, and cover of all tuition fees and costs of securing private housing for students and researchers. Those wishing to apply for research and study grants offered by the “Study in Iraq” program should visit the official website of the program, provided in both
