On this prominent celebratory day, we recall the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We remember with pride and appreciation the pivotal role this ministry has played in shaping and guiding the course of Iraqi diplomacy. It has been a fundamental pillar in building and strengthening the bridges of friendship and cooperation between Iraq and the international community. Additionally, it has played an effective role in defending Iraqi national interests and steadfastly embracing the principled issues that reflect the essence of the Iraqi state.
