"Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the terrorist attack carried by criminal gangs in Tahrir square, eastern Damascus. The ministry reiterates Iraq's solidarity with fraternal Syria against all takfiri gangs, e. g. the defeated gangs of Da'esh. It also asserts the need to take further hard line on these gangs in order to fully eradicate them and spare the world their menace."
