PM al-Abadi Receives A Call from PM of Turkey

Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi received on Saturday a phone call from the Turkish Prime Minister Mr. Ben Ali Yildirim .
Mr. Yildirim extended his Excellency's condolences and that of the Turkish people for the martyrdom of a number of pilgrims visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein, commenting that: "Those who perpetrated this crime are the same murderers who killed Imam Hussein (PBUH) "."They are our common enemies. Iraq and Turkey are fighting terrorism together".
Yildirim commended victories and successes achieved by the Iraqi forces on Daesh gangs under al-Abadi's wise leadership, and said that the people of Mosul are very pleased for the approaching of the Iraqi forces.
The Turkish PM confirmed his country's keenness on Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Bin Ali expressed his country's intention to withdraw from Camp Ba'shiqah as the task of their forces will be terminated once the lands of Mosul would be liberated, noting that his country seeks to sustain trade and economic relations between the two countries, stressing the need to convene the High Strategic Committee between Turkey and Iraq in Baghdad chaired by the prime ministers of the two countries.
Dr. al-Abadi, stressed that all States should respect Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity and it is essential for the Turkish troops to withdraw from Camp Ba'shiqah and to announce this withdrawal publicly.
Al-Abadi added that: Iraq is eager to establish strong relations with Turkey, the neighbor, and with all nations and it is important to remove all obstacles that impede the progress of relations, noting that the Iraqi forces have achieved victories over Daesh gangs and now reached the last stronghold of the guerrilla, in Nineveh, where most of its territories have been liberated.
Clarifying that Daesh tried to sow discord between the components of Iraq but the Iraqis, particularly, the people of Mosul thwarted this terrorist sedition and are cooperating with our forces, which assist our troops to liberate their city
