Foreign Minister Mohamed A. Alhakim held a telephone conversation with Jordanian counterpart Mr.Ayman Safadi on Saturday evening to find out the latest developments in the Jordan floods school bus accident, which killed a number of students and wounded others including Iraqis.
Minister Alhakim expressed Iraq's solidarity with the government and the people of the Jordanian Kingdom stating that Iraq stands with its brothers in this painful tragedy, and prayed God to protect the people in Jordan and to have mercy on the victims and to grant their families patience and grant the injured recovery.
His Excellency Minister Alhakim instructed the Iraqi Embassy in Jordan to follow up with Iraqi students and their families who were affected by the incident and to present all necessary assistance.
