President Barham Salih received the Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu, in Erbil, Monday, June 10, 2019, and discussed with him the latest political developments in the region.
During the meeting, they emphasized the need for cooperation and coordination as well as the adoption of keen dialogue among all parties in order to unify efforts to address the current crises and to steer clear of the language of threat so that the peoples of the region enjoy stability, security and economic prosperity.
They also conferred about the means to enhance and develop bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
