Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani welcomed Mr. Ken West, President of Honeywell, and his delegation at his residence in Washington, D.C., early Thursday morning (Baghdad time). The meeting discussed cooperation opportunities with Honeywell in the field of gas production development. President Barham Salih received H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian President and his accompanying delegation, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad on Monday, March 4, 2019.
An official welcoming ceremony was held. The national anthems of the two countries were played. The two Presidents inspected the Presidential Guards who lined up to salute them.
His Excellency expressed his great pleasure and welcomed the visit of the Palestinian President to Iraq, wishing him a fruitful and successful visit.

Foreign Minister Meets Syrian Counterpart on Sidelines of 73rd Session of United Nations General Assembly in New York

After your brothers in the armed forces were able to militarily defeat ISIS and eradicate its presence from the Iraq regions, the Iraqi National Intelligence Service today completes this achievement with a qualitative intelligence victory that overthrew the terrorist leader of ISIS in light of joint intelligence follow-up and direct guidance by the Prime Minister and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

IRAQI LEADERSHIP STRESSES ON ENSURING PROTECTION OF PROTESTORS, MEETING THEIR LEGITIMATE DEMANDS

The President hosted a meeting today at the al-Salam Palace on meeting protestors Demands.
In addition to President Salih, Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi, Speaker of parliament Mohammed al-Halbouosi, and Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Fa'iq Zidan attended the meeting.
All meeting participates discussed the current political and security situations across the country, asserted the importance of setting a deadline for meeting protestors' legitimate demands regarding the reforms and combating of corruption.
