His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi received, today Monday, a phone call from the French president Emmanuel Macron

French president congratulates Dr.Haider Al-Abadi for triumphs achieved against Daesh and liberating , Stressing France's continued commitment to support Iraq in the fight against terrorism , supporting the Iraqi government efforts to restore stability , building its institution, developing the relations level between the two countries.

In the presence of His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani, in Baghdad this evening and at the end of the joint talks' session, a number of memoranda of understanding were signed in the fields of oil, trade, health and transport for the establishment of railways between Basra and Shalamjah, visas facilitating to Businessmen and investors.

Media Office of the Prime Minister Dr.Haider Al-Abadi reaffirmed that Iraqi Government preserves rights and gains of all Iraqi Citizens including Kurdish People, while the Government assured their rights in any made decision.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi , in his offices on Monday ,received The U.S. CENTCOM Commander General Joseph Votel and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the victories achieved ,international support for Iraq in fighting Terrorism, post-Daesh and Global, Regional cooperation with Iraq

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has received, in his office today on Monday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and his accompanying delegation.
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has welcomed the guest delegation, confirming the importance of cooperation with NATO to fight terrorism.
His Excellency has added that what we achieved it is a triumph victory against Daesh's terrorist's gangs, we must maintain it, eliminating terrorism's ideological and continue to pursue it, indicating that cooperation between Iraq and NATO is important in this field.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq recalled on August 19 the crime of assault by the terrorist groups in 2009, in which the ministry blew up dozens of martyrs of its guards, employees and diplomatic staff, in addition to injuring hundreds of wounded, and on the same date targeted the building of the United Nations Special Mission in 2003, which killed Mr. Sergio de Mello, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, who provided much of the gift that will be preserved by the memory of the Iraqis as well as many of the staff of the International Mission.

The Supreme Coordination Committee among the governorates held its second meeting / third session in Baghdad this morning presided by His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi, while Governors, members of provincial councils, Minister of Finance, Construction and Housing, a number of general managers and advisors were attended the meeting.

US air strikes killed a leader of the Islamic State in the Iraqi city of Fallujah as US and Iraqi government forces continue a sustained attack to defeat terrorist networks.

Maher al-Bilawi, the commander of Daesh forces in Falluajh, was killed on May 25, according to the spokesperson of the US military campaign leading the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Operation Inherent Resolve army colonel Steve Warren confirmed the death of Mr al-Bilawi and more than 70 terrorists in recent air strikes.
