Mrs. Lameis Faily was an honorary guest at the Washington International Club’s annual Fall Tea event, which promotes culture and international diplomacy.

In recognition of the changes that have taken place in the region, and in line with the great role that Iraq could play in the midst of these changes, it becomes imperative upon us to create internal political cohesion that results in important outputs. WASHINGTON, DC -- The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq deeply mourns the death of the Iraqi F-16 pilot Rasid Hasan, after his plane crashed during a training mission at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona.

Brigadier General Hasan's dedication to serving his country will continue to be honored and remembered among our nation.

President Barham Salih has arrived to Baghdad, today Monday, April 1, 2019, after an active participation in the Arab summit in its 30th session in Tunis.

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Washington held an evening reception for a group of Iraqi and foreign professors and researchers who participated in the TARII Conference, a conference in which the embassy participated and discussed over two days (3-4 November) the various pieces of research regarding Iraq's history and its present culture.
